The Thomas project was focused around a newly built outdoor kitchen and living space. The design connected the existing house, new living space and extended the outdoor living space into the backyard. The clients existing cast iron sugar kettle water feature was used as a focal point in the paver area. Seat walls were placed around the perimeter of the space to allow for larger family gathering. Extensive drainage was also included to act as water storage tanks so the large live oak tree could remain in good health. Lawn terrace steps were also added to the edge of the patio to soften up the transition from lawn to hardscape.
